My main purpose
for creating this company was to empower the employees with knowledge and
due process for lending. To
“create a better way” is the mantra shared by myself and my two partners.
Raised and educated in Oregon, with a Bachelor of Science from Oregon State University, you can bet when I am not in the office, I can be found on any of the states amazing rivers chasing Steelhead.
Why was The Watermark Group Created:
At some point in my career I realized that it was my responsibility to guide others through the dynamic business of lending and that the relationships that I had cultivated could help other brokers and their clients. One of the greatest results of establishing The Watermark Group has been the empowerment created within the employees.
What is The Watermark Group:
The Watermark Group Inc., located in the heart of downtown Portland, offers a full range of commercial and residential financing. Established October 2005, Watermark employs 27 of the top professionals in the state.
What is unique about The Watermark Group:
In addition to the traditional Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac lending arenas, our company utilizes lending resources that are specific to the Northwestern United States. These relationships allow our client and the lender to work on a holistic basis. This simply means that our client’s financial “big picture” is reviewed by a live person, not just by a software program.
